Graduated with Upper Second Class Honours.
Through Philosophy I studied the history of Western thought through the minds of scholars such as Plato, Kant, Hume and Descartes. Here I specialised in the Philosophy of Mind, Moral Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion and Political Philosophy and ended with a thesis on qualia of the human condition.
Through Religious Studies I first gained a knowledge of all the major world religions and then specialised in Christianity, Islam and Buddhism. Subjects included the role of woman in religions, conflict in religion – particularly between that of Christianity and Islam – and examining the rise of secularity in Great Britain.
